For parents

Intelligent care when you're not there.

Solstis is a smart medicine cabinet for their dorm room. It's stocked with first-aid and over-the-counter essentials. When they tell it what's going on, a calm voice talks them through using what's inside, while the correct boxes glow to point them in the right direction. They handle the small stuff on their own. You know they're covered.

A dark dorm room at night. The Solstis cabinet hangs open on the wall, its cyan glow on.

It's 2 AM.They've got this.

  • A headache the night before a final.
  • A kitchen cut in their first apartment.
  • A fever that shows up after the health center has closed for the night.
A digital clock on a dorm room nightstand reads 2:03 AM.

Most of these nights, what they need is simple: the right supply, and clear directions for using it. With Solstis, both are already in the room. They handle it on their own, and you get to sleep.

And when something sounds like more than a supply can handle, Solstis recommends the next step up: an appointment with student health, then a doctor, then urgent care, and for the most urgent things, the ER. In an emergency, call 911. If they can't make the call, Solstis can contact 911 for them and share their building's address so help can find them.

How it works

Four steps.

The closed Solstis cabinet on a dorm room wall above a desk, beside a light switch, in late-afternoon sun.
Step 1 of 4
  1. 01

    Tell it what's going on.

Solstis listens, the way you would.

  2. 02

    Follow the glow.

It lights up when the door opens, and the correct boxes glow to point them in the right direction.

  3. 03

    Solstis asks clarifying questions.

Then a calm voice talks them through what to do.

  4. 04

Share the view with the people who care.

Built for those who are there and those who care. Students can choose to give you the same view they have.

Watch it work.

The Solstis app, and what parents see

Peace of mind, without hovering.

College is about growth, learning, and independence. It shouldn't be about worrying.

The Solstis app on a phone: a map of the kit. Tapping Electrolyte Powder opens its card, with a button to restock it.

Solstis lets them handle the everyday stuff themselves. The app is meant for students, and whether you see what they see is their choice: a student can give a parent the same visibility they have. When something runs low, restock it from the app.

The Solstis app is meant for students, and what they see is theirs. A student can choose to give a parent the same visibility they have. If they do, you see what they see; if they don't, you don't. Students are adults, and it's their call.

Is it a replacement for a doctor?

No. Solstis is for the everyday stuff: headaches, colds, small cuts. It isn't a doctor, and it isn't emergency care.

When does it ship?
